McGoun father and sons (MacGoun, McGowan, McCown) traded as a Glasgow book/music seller, stationer and later also papermaker; SBTI list Archibald, Archibald Junior and Andrew. Like MacFadyen, the McGouns bought some of Aird's plates. (Kidson; SBTI; Alburger)
